Legal & conveyancing — with Antón Abogados

We don't pretend to be lawyers. For everything legal we work hand-in-hand with Antón Abogados, an established Xàbia firm, so the paperwork — the part that quietly sinks most foreign purchases — is handled properly from day one.
Before any offer goes in, the lawyers check the registry, the cadastre, the urbanistic situation, debts, community fees, licences and whether what's actually built matches what's on paper. They handle the NIE, open the bank channel, draft and review the private contract, run the deposit safely, and represent you at the notary — in person or by power of attorney if you can't be here.
On builds and renovations they take care of the project licence, the works declaration, first-occupation certificates, energy certificates and the cédula. One firm, the whole legal path, explained in plain English, Dutch, Spanish or German — coordinated by your Habitat One project manager so nothing falls between the cracks.
